About Us

The Story Behind Dakota Tea House

At Dakota Tea House and Mommy and Me Tea Time LLC, everything we do is rooted in faith, family, and a love for tradition.

What began as simple tea parties shared between a mother and her children has grown into a mission to help families rediscover the joy of slowing down, gathering together, and learning the art of grace.

Founded by Alissa Myers, a homeschooling mother and small business owner, Dakota Tea House was born in Williston, North Dakota, where Alissa began hosting community tea gatherings and children’s etiquette lessons through her ND based company Mommy and Me Tea Time LLC.

These early events were filled with laughter, mismatched teacups, and heartfelt lessons on manners, kindness, and connection. Proof that even the smallest table can hold great purpose when it’s shared with love.

After expanding to Southwest Florida, Dakota Tea House continued its calling — blending handcrafted artisan teas, ready-to-mix baking jars, and family enrichment classes designed to teach grace through action.

From cozy homeschool tea lessons to our Polish Your Grace Etiquette Series, every offering reflects a belief that education is more than academics — it’s about cultivating character, confidence, and community.

We are humbled and grateful for every person who has joined us on this journey from our North Dakota beginnings to our Florida expansion under Cottage Food Law compliance. Each product and experience is created with prayer, purpose, and an enduring desire to serve others through warmth, hospitality, and tradition.

Our Mission:

To help families Sip. Learn. Gather, inspiring connection, character, and grace through every cup of tea and every act of kindness shared around the table.
