What areas do you serve?

Dakota Tea House serves Southwest Florida and may travel to additional locations for select events. Extended-distance travel, tolls, paid parking, lodging, or other travel-related costs are quoted when applicable.

What tea experiences do you offer?

Current experiences include Cream Tea, Classic Afternoon Tea, Signature Afternoon Tea, and Celebration Tea. Cream, Classic, and Signature may be booked as Drop-Off or Full Service. Celebration includes Full Service.

Is there a minimum booking?

Mobile events are subject to a $450 minimum booking.

How far in advance should I book?

Booking as early as possible is recommended, especially for weekends and seasonal dates. Your date is not reserved until the required booking retainer is received.

What is required to reserve my date?

A 30% non-refundable booking retainer is required after proposal acceptance to reserve the event date. The retainer is applied toward the final event total.

What is your cancellation policy?

All payments are non-refundable. Eligible cancellations made at least 14 days before the scheduled event may receive a booking credit toward one future Dakota Tea House booking occurring within 6 months of the original event date, subject to availability and the full Return Policy.

Do you provide china, linens, and decor?

Full-Service packages include the standard serviceware and presentation described for the selected experience. Premium vintage china, specialty linens, upgraded flatware, chargers, florals, backdrops, chair covers, and themed decor may be added when available.

Do you accommodate allergies or dietary requests?

Please provide allergy and dietary information before the final menu deadline. Dakota Tea House will review requests individually, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Are macarons included?

Macarons are available as a premium add-on unless specifically included in a custom proposal.

Do you offer children's etiquette programs?

Yes. Polish Your Grace Etiquette Academy™ offers live etiquette and enrichment experiences, including eligible Step Up For Students marketplace offerings.

Can I use Step Up For Students funds for a tea party?

Only eligible educational offerings listed through the applicable marketplace may qualify. General catering and private tea-party services are booked separately.

How do I get started?

Complete the Event Inquiry form with your date, guest count, location, and preferred experience. Dakota Tea House will review the details and prepare a personalized proposal.
