Step Up for Students Reimbursement Eligible Offerings

At Dakota Tea House, we are proud to offer enrichment experiences and educational supplies that qualify for reimbursement through Florida’s Step Up for Students Scholarship Program.

We are currently in queue to become a Direct Pay Vendor, which means families will soon be able to apply scholarship funds directly at checkout.

Until approval is finalized, all eligible purchases may be submitted for reimbursement through the Step Up for Students portal.

Our offerings nurture confidence, connection, and character through etiquette, family-based learning, and cultural enrichment all created in compliance with Florida Cottage Food Law.

Eligible Product Categories

The following collections qualify under Educational Enrichment Supplies and Family-Based Learning Activities:

  • Educational Tea Collection: Artisan loose-leaf teas supporting sensory learning, cultural study, and mindfulness.

  • Artisan Baking Mixes: Ready-to-mix scone and shortbread jars that teach math, measurement, and sequencing through hands-on baking.

  • Par-Tea Boxes: Educational family activity kits combining themed teas, dry mixes, and hospitality learning experiences.

  • Polish Your Grace Etiquette Classes: In-person sessions that teach posture, kindness, confidence, and communication for children, families, and adults.

Every eligible item or class will display “Step Up for Students Eligible” in the title and description.

How to Request Reimbursement

1️⃣ Purchase your eligible items or classes directly from Dakota Tea House.
2️⃣ Save your emailed invoice or receipt as proof of purchase.
3️⃣ Submit your receipt in the Step Up for Students reimbursement portal under:

  • Educational Enrichment Supplies

  • Family-Based Learning Activities

  • Character Education

  • Life Skills / Cultural Enrichment
    Once direct pay is activated, you’ll be able to select Dakota Tea House as a vendor during checkout.

Compliance

All teas, dry mixes, and educational materials are produced under Florida Cottage Food Law, which permits the sale of non-potentially hazardous homemade goods directly to the end consumer.

No food/tea is sampled or served during etiquette classes.
